Tandoori potato curry

Ingredients

Potatoes- 4 medium, cut into quarters , sharwood tandoori pwd- 2 tbsp, chilli pwd- 1/2 tsp(according to spicyness desired) , oil- 4 tbsp, methi leaves(dry) - 1 tbsp, curry leaves 8 , saunf(fennel seeds)- 1/2 tsp, salt to taste, turmeric- 1/4 tsp.


Marinate the potatoes with the tandoori pwd, chilli pwd, turmeric pwd , 1 tbsp oil & methi leaves for about 10 minutes.

Heat oil in a non stick pan & season with the curry leaves & saunf. Now add the potatoes alongwith the marinade and stir briskly for a minute. Add little water & salt and cook till the potatoes are done & the mixture has become dry. Serve the tandoori aloo varuval with rice & dal or with chappatis.
