Born in one city and raised in a different ones, my musical journey has spanned different cultures. My schooling days were in Delhi and that's where I started learning carnatic music. My guru in Delhi was Smt.Rama Ravi.

My graduation days were in Bangalore and I continued to learn music under Smt.Neela Ramagopal. Once I moved to Chennai and continued my post graduation, I was under the musical tutelage of Smt. Suguna Purushottaman. I also trained in Western Classical music for a year from my guru and voice trainer Mr.Jabez.

To increase my versatility , I started learning Hindustani music under Mrs Meghana Dandekar. Beginning to lay a foundation in Hindustani has been one of the most rewarding and eye opening experiences for me. I have re learnt so many things to adapt my voice to suit this style of singing and I'ts a great feeling to be a student all over againI currently train under Smt.Aditi Udpadhyay.

Apart from singing in films, hosting musical shows and doing stage shows, I am a vocalist for Amit Heri's fusion band( Morning Raga fame), based out of Bangalore. I have collaborated with Mr.Leslie Lewis and Shri. L.Vaidyanathan(late) for fusion albums

All this has made my taste in music very eclectic. And it is this that I love brining into my music, be it films or stage performances.

The journey so far has been immensely satisfying and very profound.. So much to learn and experience.
